Walker Products Fuel Injection Idle Air Control (IAC) Valves are OE Replacement components that regulate the amount of air bypassing the throttle plate to maintain stable engine idle under varying conditions. Controlled by the engine control unit (ECU), the IAC valve adjusts airflow during engine warm-up, load changes (like A/C or power steering use), and deceleration to ensure consistent idle speed and prevent stalling. Each Walker IAC Valve is engineered to match OE specifications for pintle shape, stepper motor response, voltage range, and airflow control curves. Constructed with high-temperature-resistant materials and sealed against fuel vapors and moisture, these valves are built to withstand the harsh environment of the engine bay. Designed for an exact OE fit, they install directly into the original throttle body or intake housing and connect seamlessly with the factory wiring harness. Symptoms of a failing IAC valve may include erratic idle speed, stalling, hard starting, or illuminated check engine lights. Whether addressing drivability issues or performing a routine fuel injection system service, Walker IAC Valves provide precise idle control, improved cold-start performance, and restored engine stability across a wide range of domestic and import applications.
